Choose your tool: the guide differs between VS Code and Copilot CLI.
Which version do you use?
Install via MCP

Check that Guteneo tools are available in the tool selector, then use the verification prompt below.
Check the connection
Paste this prompt into your assistant to find out what your account can do, without preparing a dispatch.
With Guteneo, list only the functions and channels currently available for my account. Use read-only tools only. Do not create any document or draft, prepare or send any communication, or change any authorisation.
After a response that uses Guteneo tools, find the latest successful exchange under My connections in your workspace.
Catalogue plugin
No Guteneo plugin is published in the catalogue of GitHub Copilot at present. Use the MCP installation described above.
Need help?
The server is present, but its tools are missing
In MCP: List Servers, check that guteneo is enabled and review its status. Also check your conversation’s tool selection and your organisation’s restrictions.
The connection fails or returns to the sign-in screen
Check the server address and the Guteneo account in use. If the app reports a denied permission, unknown client or invalid redirect address, keep the error message and have the configuration checked. Do not share any password or token.
My assistant cannot find my document
Attachment transfer depends on your app. If the file is not accessible, upload it in Documents in your Guteneo workspace, then ask your assistant to find that document.
